What I Believe

My faith is the foundation of everything I share here. I don't have all the answers, and I'm still growing in my walk with Jesus, but I know what He's done in my life. I believe God's Word is true, His promises are faithful, and His love can change even the most broken life.

  • I believe in one God, eternally existing as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is true, trustworthy, and the foundation for how I want to live my life.

  • I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, and is the only way to salvation.

  • I believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. We cannot earn it through good works.

  • I believe in repentance, forgiveness, and the new life we receive, when we surrender our hearts to Jesus.

  • I believe the Holy Spirit is still working today, guiding believers, giving us strength, and equipping us with spiritual gifts to serve God and others.

  • I believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers to live for Jesus, share the Gospel, and serve Him boldly.

  • I believe speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as described in the book of Acts.

  • I believe in the power of prayer and that God still heals, restores, and performs miracles according to His will.

  • I believe baptism in water is an important step of obedience and a public declaration of our faith in Jesus Christ.

  • I believe God calls us to live according to His Word, love one another, forgive others, and continue growing in our relationship with Him.

  • I believe Jesus Christ is coming again, just as He promised.

Above all, I believe no one is beyond the reach of God's grace. I know because He reached into my own life, pulled me out of the pit, and gave me a new purpose.

These are the beliefs that guide my life and everything I share on this website. I'm still growing in my understanding of God's Word, but my faith in Jesus is what keeps me going. My hope is that as you explore this website, you'll see His love and faithfulness reflected in my story.
