God Can Use You Right Where You Are

There was a time when I never imagined God could use someone like me. Looking back at the life I used to live, I honestly didn’t think I had much to offer. I had made so many mistakes, and I was still trying to figure out who I was in Christ.

Even after giving my life to Jesus, I sometimes questioned whether I was qualified to do anything for Him. I don’t know the Bible as well as some people do, and there are still things I’m learning every day. But something God has been showing me is that I don’t have to know everything to be useful to Him.

Recently, God opened a new door for me to encourage others through His Word. At first, I wondered if I was ready. How could I help someone understand Scripture when I’m still learning myself? But then I started thinking about how many people God has placed in my life who helped me grow in my faith.

They didn’t have all the answers either. They simply took the time to encourage me and point me toward Jesus. Now I have an opportunity to do the same for someone else, and that means more to me than I can explain.

I used to be the person who desperately needed someone to show me that my life could change. Today, God is allowing me to be that encouragement for someone else. Not because I’m better than anyone or because I’ve got everything figured out, but because I know what Jesus has done for me.

I’ve learned that our past doesn’t have to be wasted. God can take the very experiences we wish we could erase and use them to help someone who is walking a similar road.

Maybe you’ve been holding back from something God has placed on your heart because you don’t feel ready. Maybe you think you need to know more or become a better Christian first.

But what if God is simply waiting for you to say yes?

I’m still learning. I’m still growing. And I certainly don’t have all the answers. But I’m beginning to understand that being willing is more important than feeling qualified.

God doesn’t need a perfect person to accomplish His purpose. He just needs someone willing to let Him work through them.

And sometimes the most beautiful part of our story isn’t just what God brought us out of, but what He allows us to do because of it.
