“Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.” Psalm 68:19 (NIV)
Some days life just feels heavy. We wake up with things on our minds before our feet even hit the floor. We start worrying about things we can’t control and trying to figure everything out on our own. But this verse reminds us that we don’t have to carry all of that by ourselves. God is right there with us every single day.
I love that it says “daily.” Not just when we’re at our lowest or when things get really hard, but every single day. God doesn’t take a day off from loving us or caring about what we’re going through. I know there have been plenty of times when I’ve prayed and given something to God, only to turn around and start worrying about it again.
I’m learning that trusting Him means leaving those burdens in His hands instead of picking them back up. When I think about everything God has already brought me through, I know I can trust Him with whatever comes next. We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know Who is holding us today.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for carrying me through each day. Help me stop picking up the burdens I’ve already given You. Teach me to trust You more and remember that You’re always with me.
