I walked through days that felt so long,
Trying to find where I belonged.
I carried hurt I couldn’t hide,
And tried to heal it all inside.
But Jesus met me where I was,
Not with judgment, but with love.
He took my broken, tired heart,
And slowly gave me a brand-new start.
Recovery came one day at a time,
With His hand holding onto mine.
Some days were hard, some days I fell,
But even there, He loved me still.
I learned that healing takes some time,
That every mountain has a climb.
I didn’t have to always know,
Just trust that God would help me grow.
The road behind me brought some pain,
But God has never let it be in vain.
He took the pieces of my story,
And turned them all toward His glory.
Today I’m healing, learning, and growing,
Trusting God without always knowing.
My past is behind me, I’m not alone,
With every step, He’s leading me home.
